Mooncake Box Sleeve
Challenge
SunLife Financial needed a mooncake box sleeve package design for gifting mooncakes to international partners and clients for this heritage celebration.
Concept
The making and sharing of mooncakes is part of the celebration. In Asian cultures, the round shape of these mooncakes symbolizes completeness. I included more symbolic imagery, like the osmanthus flower which symbolizes prosperity, wealth, and good fortune.
Lunar New Year 2020 Greeting Card
Challenge
SunLife Financial needed a greeting card design to send to clients celebrating Lunar New Year. January 2020 marked the Year of the Rat.
Concept
Traditional red hues, gold foil, and ornate embellishments radiate elegance and festivity. The gold also symbolizes the element to which this Year of the Rat belongs– Metal.
